About One Family Table
Technology can connect systems. Purpose is what makes those connections matter.
One Family Table was created around a simple realization: help can exist everywhere and still feel impossible to reach.
How this began
It Started With a Problem I Knew Personally.
There are programs. There are organizations. There are resources. There are people working every day to help families.
And yet, when someone actually needs that help, the path can become a maze of websites, applications, eligibility rules, phone numbers, agencies, documents and disconnected systems.
I know what that feels like.
There were times in my own life when I experienced food insecurity and did not know where to turn.
I knew there had to be resources somewhere.
What I did not have was a clear way to understand what was available, whether it applied to my family, what I needed to do or where I was supposed to begin.
A list of resources would not have solved that problem.
I needed a path.
And I have never forgotten what a difference that would have made.
That experience became an idea
That Experience Became an Idea.
What if technology could do more than simply give people information?
What if it could understand where someone is starting from?
What if it could connect information that currently lives in separate places?
What if it could help identify what is missing, discover possibilities that may fit, prepare someone for what comes next and turn a complicated system into a path they could actually follow?
That question eventually became:
G.A.P.
Guidance • Access • Provisions
And G.A.P. became the beginning of:
One Family Table.

Why One Family Table
Why One Family Table?
A table has always represented something larger than the furniture itself.
It is where people come together.
Different people can bring different things to the same table.
Different experiences.
Different knowledge.
Different resources.
Different possibilities.
That is the idea behind One Family Table.
Our world does not necessarily lack resources.
Too often, it lacks the connections between them.
One organization may know one piece.
Another program may provide another.
A healthcare provider may recognize one need.
A community organization may be able to meet another.
An opportunity may exist that a family never even knew to look for.
But those pieces rarely sit at the same table.
We are building the technology to bring them there.
What we are building
What We Are Building
One Family Table is a technology company focused on the places where important systems stop working together.
We build platforms designed to connect:
People
Resources
Needs
Solutions
Organizations
Possibilities
Information
Action
Problems
A Path Forward
Our first flagship platform, G.A.P., is being built to help individuals and families navigate areas that can have an enormous impact on their lives, including:
But G.A.P. is not the end of the vision.
It is the first example of what One Family Table exists to do.
We intend to continue identifying places where technology can make complicated systems work better for the people who actually have to use them.
Food insecurity
Housing
Healthcare
Financial stability
Utilities
Education
Employment
Transportation
Family resources
Senior resources
Disability resources
Veterans resources
Emergency needs
Community resources
Other essential services and opportunities
Why this matters
Help Shouldn't Require Becoming an Expert in the System.
When a family is struggling, the answer should not be:
Search harder.
Call another number.
Try another website.
Fill out the same information again.
Figure out which agency handles it.
People should not have to become experts in complicated systems simply because something happened in their lives and they need help finding the way forward.
Technology has transformed nearly every part of modern life.
It can tell us where our car is parked.
It can move money around the world in seconds.
It can recommend what we should watch tonight.
Surely we can also use it to help a mother understand where she can find food for her children.
To help a family discover that there may be a path to stable housing.
To help someone understand what assistance, services, benefits or opportunities may exist before a temporary crisis becomes something much larger.
And to help organizations connect the people they serve with what happens next.
That is technology worth building.
Our vision
Our Vision
We believe some of the biggest problems are not caused by the absence of solutions.
They are caused by the distance between them.
One Family Table exists to shorten that distance.
To connect what is fragmented.
To simplify what has become unnecessarily complicated.
To build what is missing.
And ultimately, to create technology that gives people something incredibly valuable during uncertain moments:
A clearer way forward.
One Family Table
Building What People Need to Move Forward.
Technology That Connects What Doesn't.
One Family. Every Possibility.
